A Random Thank You!
I just want to thank all of you my friends, for your continued support and belief in me!
Next week will be the 35th anniversary of the day that I injured my dominant hand so badly I didn't even know if I'd be able to hold a pencil again. I told the doctor on call that day that I was an artist. It is still a very painful memory, and it was the low point of my life. Four years later I graduated #1 in my class in architecture school (it sounds fancy but there were only 13 of us!). I had no idea that I would go on to become an award winning architect, and now a professional artist.
If you had told me 5 years ago that I would be traveling the country teaching abstract painting workshops, filming videos for Youtube, producing online courses and connecting with, and motivating people around the globe I would have laughed you out of the room. But I left myself open to possibilities in my life and didn't say no when doors began to open.
You all made this happen because you let an average guy like me follow my dreams and you shared my work and cheered me on.
What I would say to all of you is to leave yourselves open to possibilities. One of those possibilities may be the fulfillment of a dream. You are all STRONGER than you imagine. You all can DO MORE than you imagine.
Believe in your heart. Listen to your gut - always. Find and live out your purpose. That's why you're here!
Be yourself. Love yourself. Love others. Share Your voice. Share Your message. We are all waiting to hear it.
Blessings and Thank You!
